Which stay suits you?
Most housing options start from one month. One month of rent or housing fees is usually the minimum charge, even if you leave earlier.
TIMING & LOCAL COMMUNICATION
Know what happens
before move-in.
Start checking housing about one to two months before your move-in date. Some options may open earlier, depending on the provider.
Rooms cannot usually be held for months.
After screening or provider confirmation, early payment may be needed to secure a room. Availability changes quickly.
Help with Japanese communication.
We work with several accommodation providers and can contact them directly when language makes the process harder.
Japan-side emergency contact support.
For eligible applications, HarukaBase can be your Japan-side emergency contact. Eligibility and provider requirements are checked individually. This is different from acting as a guarantor.
